311 are back with a new track called "Sunset in July." I've never been a huge fan of this band to tell you the truth. I have to admit though, it has a decent hook, and is made for summer (obviously).
Singer-guitarist Nick Hexum says of the song:
"It's about how the more fun you have, the faster life flies by. Most nights in July we're on stage as the sun is setting. You can actually see the crowd losing their inhibitions as the daylight fades away."
It's a taste of their new album, Universal Pulse, due July 19th.
