The 411 On 311 (Westwood One, Rip Read & Rock)
311 are a week away from releasing their “Universal Pulse” album and there’s a few last minute details that should keep things interesting. First of all, if you buy the disc or vinyl at participating independent record stores, then you could receive a free limited-edition Lenticular of the album cover, and on the back of the lenticular will be a sticker with a download code for a free 311 remix. Check out which stores are participating at www.recordstoreday.com/Venues. There’s also a pair of big appearances this coming week. First off, the band will film their Chicago date this Thursday (July 14) for an HDNet special that will air this fall. Then, next Monday at midnight, the group will return to their hometown of Omaha, Nebraska for an in-store signing at Homer’s Records (Old Market) just as it hits stores.
