After finishing recording their new album 311 has announced the 2011 Summer Unity tour, which will feature Sublime With Rome (in all but 3 shows)and "special guests" which will vary with each venue.
The tour will span July 6 to August 27, coast to coast and will feature the "311 Pow Wow Festival" smack dab in the middle. 311 says that, "It's going to be the ultimate outdoor summer party!" and they have shown many times in the past that they can deliver on that promise!
Sublime with Rome will not be present in Wichita, KS (7/6) and a TBA date on 8/27. The 3rd date at which Sublime with Rome will not appear has yet to be announced, but it will be one of the unannounced dates because all other dates are confirmed to feature Sublime with Rome.
The 311 Pow Wow festival will be "311's first ever multi-day music festival!
The festival will feature two stages with great bands playing day and night!" and will be held at Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park; a 500 acre park and campground along the Suwannee River, in northern Florida. 311 will play 4 sets (2 on Friday and 2 on Saturday). And for the first time ever, 311 will play their album Transistor in its entirety! So far, the only confirmed bands that will play alongside 311 at the Pow Wow Festival are Sublime and the Dirty Heads.

Very few details have been released, but 311 has officially announced via their website that they have finished recording their new unnamed album and are currently at work mixing. They are aiming for a release this June or July.
